This contract is requesting a contractor to provide all necessary materials and services to remove and install gate safety and operational components for an entry/exit gate. The scope of work includes removing and disposing of existing gate motor and chain-link fence, saw cutting asphalt for installation of new gate loops, patching asphalt as needed, removing existing auto gate system components, and installing new gate motor, keypad/intercom system, guide rollers, wireless entry/exit buttons, safety sensors, and gate locking hardware. The contractor is also responsible for extending the gate catch to prevent gate from being pushed open, disposing of old equipment, and testing all gate components to ensure they are in operating status. To include, but not limited to providing all parts, labor, materials, tools, and supervision to remove and install all required gate safety and operational components for entry/exit gate. Remove and dispose of existing operator and gate motor. Remove existing chain-link fence and gates as needed to install all new components. Saw cut asphalt for removal and installation of new entry and exit gate loops. Patch all asphalt as required for electrical, access control, unused boxes, etc. Remove existing auto gate system components. Provide new entry/exit gate motor and required appurtenances. Install new Cellular keypad/ intercom system. Replace guide rollers, guide roller guard and install expanded metal on roller gate. Install two (2) wireless entry/exit buttons for guard shack and unit COMMS, including all wiring associated from gate to existing electrical point of connection. Replace gate locking hardware on 36-inch entry gate. Install all required safety sensors. Extend gate catch to prevent gate from being pushed open. Properly dispose of all old equipment and associated hardware. Test and ensure all gate components are in operating status IAW manufactures specifications.
